Our hospital is home to NYU Langone’s Comprehensive Stroke Center, where a team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, neuroradiologists, and specially trained nurses is available at all times to provide lifesaving stroke treatment. Recovery is supported by the team at Rusk Rehabilitation at NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, where patients begin rehabilitation before returning home. Both programs have been recognized by The Joint Commission as one of the best places in the United States to receive treatment for and recover from stroke.
We are leaders in surgical treatment for life-threatening and chronic conditions. In our cardiac catheterization laboratory, we offer noninvasive cardiac testing as well as catheterization, stents, and emergency treatments for blocked arteries and heart attacks.
