Leaders in Orthopedic Surgery
As one of the largest orthopedic programs in the country, our doctors care for tens of thousands of people each year.

Since 1905, physicians at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital, formerly the Hospital for Joint Diseases, have provided the highest quality medical and surgical care for the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of orthopedic, musculoskeletal, rheumatic, immunological, and neurological conditions, as well as other related diseases and injuries.

Our tradition of research to improve treatments for our patients has led to innovative programs that address pain and workplace injuries as well as neurological and developmental conditions in children. We also help people with injuries and disabilities resume as many of their daily activities as possible. In addition, we lead programs to train future medical experts to deliver the same high-quality care we have been known for over the past century.
