Staying Connected After a Stroke
Join NYU Langone speech–language pathologist Darcy Abrams, MS CCC-SLP, psychologist Kristine T. Kingsley, PsyD, and rehabilitation specialist Prin Amorapanth, MD, PhD, to learn about communication and cognitive changes that occur after a stroke. Topics include right brain versus left brain injuries after a stroke; changes in thinking and communication and how they impact functionality and quality of life; and how speech–language pathologists and psychologists can help those recovering from a stroke.
