Swallowing Matters: How Can Speech–Language Pathologists Help?

Join NYU Langone speech–language pathologist and certified brain injury specialist Christina Farina, MS, CCC-SLP, and speech–language pathologist Sonia Hon, MS, CCC-SLP, as they discuss treatment options for dysphagia and how to manage symptoms in people who have difficulty swallowing. The speakers will discuss dysphagia symptoms and swallowing physiology, how to identify people who are at risk for dysphagia or aspiration and how to manage their symptoms, and how to leverage scientific measurement to predict long-term swallowing outcomes.

This program is free and open to the public.
