About Me
As an oncologist at NYU Langone, my journey in medicine was sparked by a profound interest in science and a desire to use this knowledge to enhance patient care. The complexity of cancer and the significant impact it has on lives drew me to the field of oncology. The remarkable progress in cancer research and treatment continues to inspire me every day.
My expertise lies in solid tumor oncology, particularly gastrointestinal malignancies. However, I also have experience managing a variety of solid tumors, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my role. Being affiliated with Bellevue allows me to offer my patients access to the latest clinical trials and advancements in oncology.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to proactive engagement in healthcare and individualized care. I believe in customizing treatment plans to each patient’s unique circumstances, balancing aggressive treatment strategies with the patient’s ability to tolerate side effects. When a cure is not possible, my focus shifts to extending and enhancing the quality of life through treatments grounded in research. I also advocate for clinical trials when appropriate, offering patients early access to promising therapies.
My commitment to medicine is driven by a deep-seated passion for science and a dedication to improving patient lives. The mechanisms of human anatomy and physiology led me to medicine, and the complex, ever-evolving field of oncology captured my interest. As part of the team at NYU Langone, I am committed to providing comprehensive, personalized, and innovative care to my patients.
