NYU Langone Reproductive Specialists of New York

At NYU Langone Reproductive Specialists of New York, our fertility experts are focused on identifying your unique fertility challenges and developing a plan for helping you achieve your dream of starting or growing your family.

Our Fertility Evaluation and Treatment Process

Our team cares for women who have been diagnosed with conditions that can make it difficult to conceive or maintain a pregnancy, including tubal disease, endometriosis, and hormone imbalances caused by conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome. We also care for people who have experienced recurrent miscarriage or pregnancy loss, and conduct preimplantation genetic diagnosis to evaluate embryo health before pregnancy.

Our board-certified reproductive endocrinologists start with a fertility evaluation. This includes a series of tests to determine the health of your reproductive system and identify any issues that might be making it difficult to conceive. We perform all laboratory testing on-site at most of our locations, including blood tests to check for hormonal imbalances and semen analysis to evaluate sperm health. We also provide same-day endocrine and ultrasound test results at all locations.

Our fertility treatment options include medication, surgery, intrauterine insemination (IUI), intracytoplasmic sperm injection, and in vitro fertilization (IVF). We can also assist you with selecting donor sperm and eggs. We manage one of the most successful donor egg banks on Long Island, and can also connect you with a gestational surrogate if needed.

We use the most advanced embryology equipment available. This technology has allowed us to achieve a high blastocyst conversion rate, which is the percentage of embryos that develop to the blastocyst stage—usually five days after fertilization—when they consist of hundreds of cells and are more likely to result in pregnancy. This contributes to our fertility success rates as reported to the Society of Assisted Reproductive Technologies (SART). Our IVF facility has been accredited by SART since 1990. We have also been named a Center of Excellence with United Healthcare Reproductive Resource Services.

Our doctors offer fertility preservation services, including egg retrieval and freezing of egg, sperm, and embryo. All egg retrievals and embryo transfers for fertility preservation and IVF are performed at our Mineola location.

Our goal is to provide personalized fertility care to men and women in a comfortable, nurturing, and supportive environment.
