NYU Langone Dermatologic Surgery and Cosmetics Associates, part of the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Dermatology, provides patients with specialized care for the treatment of cancerous and noncancerous skin conditions. We also offer leading-edge therapies for aesthetic and cosmetic concerns. In addition to caring for patients, our physicians are involved in research to advance the understanding and treatment of dermatologic issues.
We offer Mohs micrographic surgery, an advanced technique for the removal of the most common forms of skin cancer, in order to minimize the chance of recurrence. This tissue-sparing procedure is performed by a specially trained dermatologic surgeon who has more than a decade of experience.
Other physicians in our practice perform a wide variety of procedures for the cosmetic improvement of the skin. These include the use of lasers and other light sources; fillers, such as Restylane® and Radiesse®; chemical peels; and the use of botulinum toxin (Botox®).
