Acupuncture is a form of traditional Chinese medicine during which a practitioner uses hair-thin needles to stimulate specific points on the body. This practice is believed to promote the body’s own healing system and restore its proper function. Studies suggest that acupuncture may help ease stress, anxiety, and acute and chronic pain, such as low-back, knee, and neck pain.

We offer trigger point acupuncture, which works by placing acupuncture needles in the area of the body that is triggering your pain, not necessarily the site of the pain. This treatment addresses pain and tightness in the muscles.
