NYU Langone’s integrative health programs and health promotion are coordinated by the following healthcare professionals.

Integrative Health and Health Promotion Leadership

Kimberly S. Glassman, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, Senior Vice President, Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer, Lerner Director of Health Promotion

Dr. Glassman created the Department of Integrative Health Programs in 2010. In 2018 she was named Lerner Director for Health Promotion at NYU Langone. This endowed position was established by Helaine and Sidney Lerner in the Departments of Nursing and Patient Care Services. It recognizes Dr. Glassman’s innovations in helping NYU Langone attain top patient outcomes and satisfaction ratings nationwide. In this role, Dr. Glassman provides vision and leadership for the integration of health and wellness practices, with a focus on a holistic approach to care to our patients.

Jeanne AbateMarco, NPP, MS, RN, Nurse Manager, Integrative Health

Jeanne AbateMarco has a master’s degree in holistic nursing, is a nurse practitioner in psychiatry/mental health nursing, and a teacher of Therapeutic Touch®. Ms. AbateMarco provides numerous integrative health services and therapies to patients and their caregivers, including Therapeutic Touch®, Reiki, guided imagery, mindfulness, and meditation. Ms. AbateMarco also teaches holistic nursing to the nursing staff and in the Nurse Residency Program at NYU Langone.

Taryn De Sio-Garber, MS, Associate Director of Health Promotion

Taryn De Sio-Garber directs the development, strategy, coordination and implementation of health promotion throughout the NYU Langone Health community. She focuses on health promotion and developing programs to expand the reach of services throughout the health system. She believes that integrative health, tobacco cessation, and prevention all play a valuable role in healthcare. Her background in business management and operations allows her to work to develop, disseminate, evaluation, align, and build these services and education at NYU Langone and throughout the community.

Integrative Health Program Staff

Bette Jean Rosenhagen, MSW, LCSW, DAHB, Senior Social Worker

Bette Jean Rosenhagen uses hypnosis, guided imagery, relaxation breathing, mindfulness meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, and supportive counseling in her work with patients, their families, and hospital staff. She provides tobacco cessation counseling and teaches workshops on stress management, therapeutic language, and mind–body interventions. She is a graduate of NYU School of Social Work and the New York Milton H. Erickson Society for Psychotherapy and Hypnosis.

Josie Gramarosso, MS, RN, HN-BC, Clinical Nurse Specialist

Josie Gramarosso is a board-certified holistic nurse with more than 20 years of experience including medical–surgical, oncology, and community health nursing. She earned a bachelor of science degree in nursing from NYU and a master of science degree in holistic nursing from the College of New Rochelle. She is a certified reflexologist, an advanced Reiki practitioner, and has training in breath work, meditation, aromatherapy, full body ‘M’ technique®, Therapeutic Touch®, and guided imagery.

Bob Sirianni, MSOM, LAc, Acupuncturist

Bob Sirianni is a board-certified licensed acupuncturist who specializes in trigger-point acupuncture for musculoskeletal pain. He earned his master’s degree in acupuncture and completed advanced training in Chinese and Japanese Kampo herbal medicine from The Tri-State College of Acupuncture, where he currently holds a faculty position.

Nicole Lenzen, MS, RN, NC-BC, Nurse Clinician

Nicole Lenzen is a registered nurse with experience working in the acute care hospital setting as a bedside nurse in New York City. Ms. Lenzen is a graduate of the master’s program at the College of New Rochelle, earning her degree as a clinical nurse specialist in holistic nursing, and is also a board-certified integrative nurse coach. She is trained in therapeutic communication, Reiki, clinical meditation and imagery, ‘M’ technique®, and therapeutic touch.

Amy Eberhardt, MPH, LMT, CPMT, CIMT, Certified Yoga Teacher

Amy Eberhardt received her master’s degree in public health from The Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. She is a licensed massage therapist, certified yoga teacher, certified practitioner of the ‘M’ technique®, and has reached Reiki level II certification. She graduated from The Swedish Institute with training in deep tissue, Swedish, and shiatsu massage and is certified in bodywork for the childbearing cycle, including prenatal and postnatal massage therapy. She is a certified pediatric massage therapist (CPMT) and certified infant massage teacher (CIMT) though Liddle Kidz Foundation.

Nikki Dunham-Hoshida, BSN, RN, Senior Staff Nurse

Nikki Dunham-Hoshida is a registered nurse with experience working on NYU Langone’s medical–surgical units, where she used treatments such as relaxation breathing and guided imagery. She is a strong advocate for the Prepare for Surgery, Heal Faster™ program. She is also trained in Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, ‘M’ technique®, chair yoga and is a certified clinical aromatherapy professional.

Melanie Roxas, BSN, RN, HNB-BC, CCRN, Senior Staff Nurse

Melanie Roxas is a certified holistic nurse. She has experience working in the intensive care unit, specifically surgery and trauma, and is certified in critical care, trauma nursing core course, and trauma care after resuscitation. She facilitates Meditation Mondays and other healthy initiatives for staff and patients.

Yvette Q. Pascal, LMT, Massage Therapist for Children Services

Yvette Q. Pascal is a licensed massage therapist and Reiki Master Practitioner. She is a graduate of the Swedish Institute and has been in practice for 18 years. Ms. Pascal has certification in perinatal massage and massage for the oncology patient. She has more than 25 years of experience within the health, wellness, and medical fields.

Marian Paglia, BA, LMT, Certified Yoga Teacher

Marian Paglia received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago. She graduated from the Swedish Institute with a degree in massage therapy and has experience working in private practice, gyms, spas, and medical offices. She received her yoga teacher certification from Integral Yoga Institute and is also trained in Reiki.
