Checking In for Your Appointment

At NYU Langone Health, we’re always working to enhance your experience and make your visits as smooth and welcoming as possible. We provide you with two simple and secure ways to check in for your appointment:

  1. At the self-service kiosk by entering your name, date of birth, and/or phone number; or 
  2. With our front desk staff who will ask a few basic questions to verify your identity.

Amazon One FAQs

Why are you phasing out Amazon One for check-in?
Amazon One is discontinuing its palm authentication services for all organizations, including NYU Langone Health.

Will the Amazon One change affect my appointment or care?
No. This change will not affect your appointment or the exceptional care you receive.

What happens to my palm scan and phone number that was shared with Amazon One?
The protection of your personal information is a top priority for us. Amazon One user data, including palm data, will be deleted. No action is needed from you. Please be assured that we have never shared your health information with Amazon One.

Will there be a new technology to replace Amazon One?
We are continuing to explore ways to optimize and improve the check-in experience for our patients. We will share updates as we evaluate future enhancements.
