Complex Urologic Reconstructive Surgery

Dr. Lee C. Zhao and Dr. Nnenaya A. Mmonu have developed several innovative techniques for urinary tract reconstruction and pioneered the use of the single-port da Vinci® surgical system robot for reconstructive surgery. They specialize in minimally invasive techniques to treat the following conditions:

ureteral stricture or obstruction
hydronephrosis
ureteropelvic junction obstruction
urethral strictures
complications of prostate, bladder, gynecologic, and colon and rectal surgery
complications of radiation therapy
congenital conditions such as hypospadias, epispadias, and duplication of the ureter
congenital conditions in adults
genital lymphedema

Our urologic reconstructive surgeons collaborate closely specialists in colon and rectal surgery, inflammatory bowel disease, gynecology, and plastic surgery to provide comprehensive, personalized care.
