We encourage you to bring a family member or caregiver to your appointments to help develop a treatment plan, and to ensure you have the help and support you need.

Geriatric screenings and primary care services include blood testing, electrocardiograms, fall risk screening, cognitive and functional assessments, and immunizations. Our caring and knowledgeable physicians are experienced in managing a broad range of health issues in older adults. We can also address your goals of care and assist you with advance care planning. Our geriatric pharmacist can review your prescriptions and answer questions you may have about your medications.

Our Support Services

Our geriatric social worker can provide you and your family with counseling, and guidance for support services and information about community resources. We also offer a variety of support groups to provide you, your family, and caregivers with the opportunity to connect with people who understand and can share their experiences. All support groups are led by our licensed clinical social workers, and are free and open to the public.

In addition to our office location, our physicians provide inpatient primary care and geriatric-care consultations to hospitalized patients at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island. Our expert physicians also care for patients at several nursing homes in Nassau County. We are committed to geriatric research and education through our fellowship training program at NYU Long Island School of Medicine.
