At NYU Langone’s Ambulatory Care Pharmacy, our pharmacists fill and refill prescriptions for any of our patients, whether you are coming from a doctor’s appointment or being discharged from Tisch Hospital, Kimmel Pavilion, or Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital—34th Street.
Our pharmacists are an integral part of your medical team. We collaborate with your doctor to determine the best medication regimen for you. We have an extensive inventory of prescription medications, including many that are not stocked at retail drug stores.
We also provide over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, herbal remedies, and diabetic supplies. We offer discounts on OTC medications for older adults. Vaccinations for protection against shingles, influenza, pneumonia, and meningitis are also available.
Helping you keep up with your recommended treatment plan is our priority. We use the latest technology to make it simple to get the medications you need, and strive to make it easier for you to feel better and stay well.
You can drop off your prescription in person, or your doctor can e-prescribe your medication so that it is ready for you to pick up the same day. You can also call us at 212-263-7319 or use NYU Langone Health MyChart to request a refill of a current medication. We can mail your prescription via regular or express mail for a small fee.
If you have an emergency request, we can usually have your order ready in one hour. Please call the pharmacy for assistance.
If you have a question about your medication, we invite you to talk with one of our pharmacists in our private consultation room or submit a question using our online form. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible while you get the information you need. This service is available to patients who had prescriptions filled at the Ambulatory Care Pharmacy.
If you are preparing for discharge from the hospital, we can bring your medication to you. Please ask your doctor or nurse to contact the pharmacy for concierge service.
