About Me
In my work as a psychiatrist at NYU Langone, I see patients both in the office at the NYU Langone Psychiatry Associates and in the medical hospital as part of the Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry service, where I work with medically admitted patients who are also in need of mental health care.
Having completed my medical degree at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, I continued at Columbia University Medical Center/New York State Psychiatric Institute for my psychiatry residency training. I subsequently completed fellowship training in neuropsychiatry and behavioral neurology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School. I am subspecialty board certified by the United Council for Neurological Subspecialties in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry.
I treat patients with general psychiatric disorders such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. I also specialize in treating mental health symptoms caused by neurologic disorders such as epilepsy, strokes, dementia--including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury, and brain tumors. Additionally, I have experience and interest in working with individuals with functional neurologic disorders, autism, and intellectual disability.
