At NYU Langone, specialists including gynecologists and urogynecologists—doctors who specialize in reproductive, urinary tract, and pelvic conditions in women—are experts at identifying the causes of pelvic pain. These include adenomyosis, endometriosis, fibroids, interstitial cystitis, ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease, and pelvic organ prolapse.

Surgeons at our Robotic Surgery Center are experts in the latest robot-assisted techniques for treating women with conditions that cause pelvic pain. At NYU Langone’s Center for Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery, our doctors—including gynecologists, urogynecologists, and surgeons—work as a team to provide personalized care. Our interventional radiologists can also provide nonsurgical treatments for certain causes of pelvic pain.
