What Sets Us Apart

Specialists at NYU Langone are experienced at diagnosing and treating children and adults with cystic fibrosis, a condition that affects the lungs and digestive system. Our experts develop a care plan that is shaped by the person’s changing needs, with a focus on providing preventive and timely treatment that helps to maintain the best quality of life.

The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation has accredited the Cystic Fibrosis Center based on the quality of the care our physicians provide, from infancy through adulthood, and on our ability to coordinate care among a team of pulmonologists, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, dietitians, and social workers. Care for children with cystic fibrosis is provided at the Cystic Fibrosis Center through Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone.
