NYU Langone Specialty Pharmacy provides comprehensive outpatient pharmacy services exclusively for NYU Langone patients. Medications prescribed by your doctor are filled through our pharmacy and can be sent directly to you via mail, picked up at our Industry City location, or delivered by courier service to your home.
Our Specialty Pharmacy will contact you if your medication is available through our pharmacy and prescribed through an associated clinic. We must be in-network with your insurance.
Just as you develop a strong, lasting relationship with your clinical care team, we believe that it is equally important that you have a trusting relationship with your pharmacy team. With this principle in mind, our Specialty Pharmacy fully integrates with your clinical care team by using one shared medical record that allows us to put your safety first.
Unlike a typical pharmacy, our Specialty Pharmacy works with your clinical team to develop a personalized care plan for you. Our team of pharmacists and therapy-specific liaisons are available for one-on-one counseling to answer any questions that you may have about your medical condition and prescribed medications, such as proper medication dosing and administration, medication storage, warning signs and symptoms, and side effect management. We offer medication management for conditions such as asthma, Crohn’s disease, hemophilia, hepatitis B and C, HIV, multiple sclerosis, pulmonary arterial hypertension, and rheumatoid arthritis.
Our team can help answer and address insurance-related questions and conduct prior authorizations. We also offer language and disability services to help patients who speak a language other than English and those with disabilities better communicate with their care team. Our goal is to provide fully integrated services to deliver the best possible care to you.
We have multiple payment options, including paying your bill online through your NYU Langone Health MyChart account.
We understand that the cost of medication can be a barrier to accessing your prescription. To help reduce your out-of-pocket cost, we will connect you with financial assistance programs whenever possible. These programs may include discount coupons from drug manufacturers and assistance from various disease management foundations. Our team can assist you with enrolling in these programs.
