At the Manhasset, Long Island, location of NYU Langone Cardiovascular Associates, our doctors provide cardiovascular consultations and follow-up exams as well as the full range of cardiac testing. We also care for people with heart rhythm disorders such as atrial fibrillation at our Cardiac Arrhythmia Center.

We provide the following cardiac testing:

  • abdominal ultrasound to screen for aortic aneurysm
  • cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) to evaluate the way blood moves through the heart
  • carotid ultrasound to look for blockages in the arteries of the neck
  • cholesterol and lipid level testing
  • coumadin level monitoring
  • exercise stress testing to evaluate how your heart responds to exertion

Cardiac Arrhythmia Center

At the Cardiac Arrhythmia Center at NYU Langone Cardiovascular Associates—Manhasset, our team provides testing for heart rhythm disorders and ongoing monitoring of cardiac devices. Our services include the following:

  • cardioversion to restore a normal heart rhythm
  • electrocardiography to measure the electrical activity in the heart
  • electrophysiology consults and follow-up exams
  • event monitoring and Holter monitoring to analyze heart rhythm
  • implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) follow-up, interrogation, and reprogramming
  • pacemaker follow-up, interrogation, and reprogramming
  • T-wave alternans testing to determine risk of life-threatening arrhythmia
