Leaders in Cardiac Care

For more than 35 years, our doctors have been at the forefront of research and innovation in care for conditions that affect the heart. NYU Langone’s Heart Valve Center is one of the most experienced transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) programs in the country, and our doctors perform more MitraClip® procedures than any other center in the Northeast.

Our cardiac electrophysiologists pioneered minimally invasive catheter-based therapy for cardiac arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter, and were the first to treat a patient using the world’s smallest pacemaker. Our Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory is one of the busiest in the region.

We’ve performed more minimally invasive and robotic heart surgeries for a wide range of complex heart procedures than any other facility in the Northeast, including single or multiple heart valve procedures, bypass surgery, pediatric congenital heart and adult congenital heart repairs, and reoperations.

We also provide support services, including social workers, programs to prevent heart attacks and strokes, and rehabilitation care to help you recover after your treatment.
