Welcome to the

Fertility Center

Whether you want to start a family now or preserve your fertility for the future, our experts can help.

At the NYU Langone Fertility Center, we understand the challenges that can come with building a family. Since 1992, we’ve helped tens of thousands of women and men to have children on their own timetables, using the newest and most advanced fertility treatments. Our primary areas of expertise include in vitro fertilization, also known as IVF, and egg freezing, also called oocyte cryopreservation.

Our team—including board certified reproductive endocrine and infertility specialists, nurses, and lab professionals—focuses solely on the needs of people dealing with fertility-related issues, questions, or concerns.

The pregnancy rates we achieve using traditional fertility-enhancing treatments such as IVF are just one measure of our success. We are also world leaders in egg freezing, having performed more than 2,500 freezing and 250 thawing procedures to date, resulting in more than 98 live births. Our physicians pioneered the technologies used for preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD) and preimplantation genetic screening (PGS), testing that decreases the risk of miscarriage. In 2013, the NYU Langone Fertility Center received the Hope Award for Achievement from RESOLVE: The National Infertility Association.

We are committed to developing innovative approaches to achieving pregnancy and preserving fertility and welcome a diverse group of patients, including those in the LGBTQ community. No matter where you are on the journey toward building a family, the doctors and staff at the Fertility Center want to help you to realize your dreams.

Your Initial Consultation

If you have been trying to conceive for six months or longer without success, or are thinking about egg freezing, we invite you to schedule an initial consultation with one of our specialists.

Please plan to bring any pertinent medical records to your first visit. For instance, if you have already had blood testing or a hysterosalpingogram, which is an X-ray used to screen for problems within the uterus or fallopian tubes, please bring those test results to the consultation. Our fertility experts determine if additional fertility testing is needed and develop a treatment plan best suited to your particular situation.
