Medicine is a constantly evolving field, and vascular surgery embodies that spirit of innovation and technical precision that initially drew me to this career. What excites me most about vascular surgery is the ability to perform highly complex procedures in minimally invasive ways that dramatically improve outcomes for my patients. In many cases, patients can go home the next day and feel as though they didn’t have surgery at all. I am privileged to tackle life-threatening conditions like aortic aneurysms and dissections, as well as diseases that can lead to stroke, renal failure, or amputations if left untreated. While the stakes are high, the reward lies in making a meaningful difference, often restoring health and quality of life in ways previously thought impossible.

Building trust and strong relationships with my patients is a vital part of my practice. I spend time listening to their stories—their concerns, how their condition impacts daily life—so I can tailor my care to their unique needs. Many of my patients require lifelong surveillance for vascular disease, and it’s a joy to see them back in clinic after surgery, living full and active lives for years to come.
