As an emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I am motivated by the opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced setting. I am trained to perform emergency procedures necessary to stabilize patients in life-threatening situations.

I am experienced in treating patients of all ages, from newborns to centenarians. My patients come to me with a wide range of conditions, from minor health concerns to severe trauma, sepsis, stroke, heart attacks, and critical illnesses. My commitment to providing the best emergency care is reflected in my experience and credentials.

Throughout my career, I have discovered the significant role empathy plays in patient recovery. A poignant experience early in my career involved spending extra time with an elderly patient with trauma, providing her with home-cooked meals to help her regain strength and avoid invasive procedures. This experience reinforced my belief that our role as healthcare providers extends beyond our medical training.

My journey into medicine was inspired by the unique blend of science, humanity, and problem-solving challenges that the field offers. The dynamic, team-oriented environment of emergency medicine appealed to my desire to make a tangible difference in patients’ lives.

As part of the emergency department at NYU Langone, I work closely with various inpatient programs and centers, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients. The most rewarding aspect of my job is seeing satisfied patients and their families, resolving their clinical concerns, making them comfortable, and providing insight into their conditions. I also take great pleasure in mentoring trainees, watching their confidence grow as they develop new skills and become the next generation of emergency physicians.
