About Me
As a vascular surgeon at NYU Langone Vascular Surgery Associates—Mineola, I see adult patients of all ages who have chronic conditions of the blood vessels that require operative or nonoperative management. Such conditions include end-stage renal disease requiring dialysis access, blood clots, plaque in the legs due to peripheral artery disease, and varicose veins.
I chose medicine as a career because I wanted a field that could provide clear solutions to problems. As I progressed, I found there is also an art to medicine, which I also enjoy. Vascular surgery lets me provide treatment solutions for patients and guide them through these chronic illnesses.
I perform open and minimally invasive vascular surgeries and specialize in complex minimally invasive approaches to treating peripheral artery disease. When a patient’s circulation has blockages, especially the smaller blood vessels in the lower leg and foot, there is a high risk for amputation. Opening those vessels with a balloon or possibly a stent can provide a lasting positive impact on a patient’s outcome.
Our team offers all the standard of care procedures to treat patients with vascular disease. Additionally, we excel at providing patients with an honest expectation of how severe their problem is and the potential impact of treatment.
My philosophy is to provide patients with a realistic perspective of what’s going on and a clear-cut plan of how we will tackle it together. I am dedicated to giving every patient 100 percent of my time and consideration to ensure I’m doing everything I can for them to get better.
