About Me
As a psychiatrist at NYU Langone Psychiatry Associates, I focus on helping individuals achieve emotional growth and mental wellbeing. I strive to treat my patients with the same care and compassion I would want for my own friends and family members.
I have specialized training in adult psychiatry and forensic psychiatry and bring a wealth of experience from various settings that include inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, mobile crisis psychiatry, the emergency department, and private practice. My training in psychoanalysis allows me to explore personal topics such as an individual’s unique goals, emotions, relationships, and identity, tailoring personalized treatment that addresses each patient’s unique needs. Additionally, I incorporate natural and holistic approaches to stress management and mood regulation, which I also practice in my own life.
Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse psychiatric environments, which has equipped me with a broad skill set to provide comprehensive care. In the psychiatric emergency department at NYU Langone, I focus on offering patients a conscientious and encouraging experience, often serving as their first interaction with a psychiatrist. My individual practice aims to prevent future distress and guide patients towards achieving their personal and professional goals.
My journey into medicine was inspired by the opportunity to help and heal people through understanding and applying valuable information. My training and experiences have shaped my commitment to providing high-quality psychiatric care. As part of NYU Langone, I collaborate with a team to ensure the highest standard of coordinated care for my patients, fostering a supportive and effective treatment environment.
