Inspired by my work with a blind and visually impaired organization, I embarked on a career in optometry to enhance independence and improve quality of life through exceptional eye care. Optometry fascinates me as it beautifully merges medical expertise with direct patient interaction, focusing on preserving vision and enriching everyday activities.

I am committed to building trust and rapport with my patients, as I believe these elements are fundamental for effective eye care. By being approachable and fostering meaningful conversations, I encourage my patients to be actively involved in their treatment, ensuring they adhere to protocols that ultimately protect and preserve their vision.

At the NYU Langone Eye Center, I tackle a broad spectrum of conditions, including dry eye, uveitis, eye infections, ocular trauma, glaucoma, and refractive and binocular disorders. I also collaborate with a team of specialists to co-manage complex cases such as cataracts, hypertensive and diabetic eye diseases, macular degeneration, and neuro-ophthalmic conditions.

My practice thrives on delivering patient-centered, compassionate care, supported by strong clinical skills. My work in varied clinical settings with diverse populations has refined my ability to communicate and build trust, empowering patients to actively participate in managing their eye health.

I advocate for a personalized approach to eye care, emphasizing that the best outcomes stem from a partnership built on trust and open communication. Recognizing that each patient's eyes have unique needs, I focus on providing the thoughtful, comprehensive attention they deserve.

Beyond clinical practice, I hold a master’s degree in vision science and have a dedicated passion for research. My thesis examined the impact of primary open-angle glaucoma on visual pathways using innovative virtual reality testing, underscoring my commitment to delivering evidence-based care that benefits patients directly.
