My passion for medicine began at age five, when I followed my dad, a urologist, during his clinical rounds. This early exposure laid the foundation for my dedication to the field, steering me toward a career in urologic oncology that combines research with caring for patients.

I am committed to personalized, patient-centered care. Recognizing that a cancer diagnosis marks a challenging journey, I foster a supportive environment where open communication and shared decision-making are valued. My approach combines medical expertise with a compassionate understanding of the physical and emotional aspects of cancer treatment. Patients can rely on me to be accessible and devoted to their care.

My focus is urologic oncology and treating cancer of the prostate, kidney, bladder, testicles, and penis. I tailor treatment plans to prioritize patient outcomes and wellbeing.

My clinical expertise includes using advanced technologies to manage prostate cancer. These include such as transperineal MRI and ultrasound fusion-guided biopsy, robotic-assisted surgery, cryoablation—the use of cold to destroy tumor tissue—and focal therapy with high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU). I tailor prostate cancer treatment plans based on the tumor location and size, and whether it is likely to spread. My goal is to maximize a patient’s likelihood of maintaining control of bowel and bladder continence and erectile function.

I am grateful for the opportunity to pursue my passion for medicine, answer the call to become a surgeon, and be part of an exceptional care team at NYU Langone, a premier destination for urologic oncology.
