I chose a career in medicine because I wanted to challenge myself and help people. I always had an interest in the sciences and I was looking for a career that enabled me to use my talents in service of others. I chose dermatology because it allows me to treat people of all ages who have a wide variety of skin diseases.

The largest share of my practice is devoted to the diagnosis and treatment of people with skin cancers and precancerous skin conditions. However, I also treat many patients with inflammatory skin conditions, such as psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and acne.

My time is devoted 100 percent to the clinical practice of dermatology and dermatological surgery. I perform office-based surgical procedures that run the gamut from treating people who have skin cancers to removing moles and warts. I recommend that all my patients have a complete cutaneous exam as an important measure of prevention against skin cancer.

I believe people should always receive expert care from a skilled physician who has extensive dermatological experience. That is my goal and I am gratified to achieve it for my patients. Every one of my patients can expect to be treated with respect, compassion, and expertise.
