Cancer Care
We are also home to the Perlmutter Cancer Center at Joseph S. and Diane H. Steinberg Ambulatory Care Center at NYU Langone, where our doctors provide the most advanced therapies, access to clinical trials, and support during treatment.
Infusion services are also available on-site at Perlmutter Cancer Center—Cobble Hill.
Same-Day Surgery
Certain procedures that do not require a hospital stay are available in our surgery suite. These procedures include laparoscopic surgery, hernia repairs, lithotripsy to treat kidney stones, orthopedic sports medicine, hand and foot surgery, ophthalmic cataract and glaucoma procedures, minimally invasive bariatric (weight loss) surgery, and upper endoscopy and colonoscopy for screening and treatment of digestive disease, including colorectal cancer.
Surgery takes place in one of our four operating rooms and two procedure rooms. After surgery, you are taken to our recovery suite, where you remain until you are ready to safely be discharged home. We also have preadmission testing available on-site.
Emergency Care
The Home Depot Emergency Department at NYU Langone Health—Cobble Hill is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for walk-in visits and ambulances. Our team of doctors and staff from the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine can assist adults and children who need medical treatment.
Imaging Services
Through NYU Langone Radiology—Joseph S. and Diane H. Steinberg Ambulatory Care Center, we offer full-service radiology and imaging, including MRI scans, CT scans, breast and general ultrasound imaging, X-ray imaging, mammography, and bone density (DEXA) testing.
Eye Care and Optical Shop
Our optometrists and ophthalmologists examine, diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of eye conditions and provide comprehensive vision care. Our opticians offer on-site expertise to provide high-quality eyewear solutions for every individual need and budget. We have an extensive selection of frames featuring the latest styles, designer fashion brands, sunglasses, and contact lenses.
Patients can be fitted for and purchase eyewear and lenses from our optical shop on the second floor. The shop is open Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00AM to 4:00PM, Tuesday from 8:00AM to 6:00PM, and Friday from 8:00AM to 2:00PM. For questions, please call 347-417-8292.
