Pediatric Transport Information for Medical Providers

If you are a medical provider requesting a patient transfer to Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, please call 855-733-5761. Be ready to provide the following:

• child’s name and date of birth
• referring hospital and physician
• reason for transport
• child’s medical history, including recent vital signs and the results of laboratory and other tests
• copies of imaging tests
• copy of medical record
• contact information

A critical care nurse from the pediatric and neonatal transport team is available at all times to answer your call. 

Request a Needs Assessment

Through the Pediatric and Neonatal Transport Program, our critical care experts at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital provide needs assessments to hospitals in the New York City area. We can help you determine your strongest clinical areas and provide recommendations on ways to improve services. We also provide mock scenarios and demonstrations at your site.
