NYU Langone Medhattan Urgent Care is temporarily closed. If you are experiencing flu-like symptoms or have a minor medical concern, please use Virtual Urgent Care.
NYU Langone Medhattan Urgent Care provides same-day doctor appointments and walk-in services for adults and children age five and older who have a serious or urgent medical need that is not a life-threatening emergency.
Our board-certified physicians and physician assistants care for people with injuries and illnesses, from a deep cut that needs stitches to testing for strep throat. We also manage broken bones and provide medications for vomiting and dehydration. Routine physical exams, annual and travel vaccinations, and testing for sexually transmitted infections are also performed. Diagnostic testing, including X-rays and blood tests, is available onsite.
Treatment at NYU Langone Medhattan Urgent Care also gives you access to hospitalization, follow-up treatment, or additional evaluation as needed at other NYU Langone locations.
True emergencies, such as being in labor or experiencing chest pains, require an emergency care visit. For all other pressing medical issues, Medhattan Urgent Care’s medical team is available every day, including after-hours and on the weekend. We are certified as an urgent care facility by the Urgent Care Association of America.
We accept many forms of insurance. If you do not have insurance, we accept private pay by credit card at the time of your visit.
Appointments are not necessary but are available. We honor appointments first, depending on the medical needs of our patients. For more information or to make an appointment, please call 646-461-2544.
