Schedule a Hospital Tour with Your Child

We invite children and their families to take a tour of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone prior to a surgical procedure or hospital stay.

Your child may be anxious and have questions about an upcoming surgery or hospital stay. A tour led by one of our child life specialists helps children and families feel more relaxed and in control. Please contact us as early as possible—at least a week before your child is admitted—to schedule your tour.

If you don’t plan to come for a tour, we encourage you to contact our child life specialists with any questions about preparing your child for a hospital stay.
