As a breast radiologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to my patients. I understand that getting a mammogram or evaluation for breast concerns can be a source of significant anxiety. My goal is to help patients feel at ease by offering the best care available and reassuring them that they are taking proactive steps towards their health. Early detection is crucial in optimizing outcomes for breast cancer. I am committed to ensuring that my patients receive the highest quality of care during their screening and treatment processes.

I have extensive experience in using advanced techniques such as breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to characterize breast tumors, whether benign or malignant. My training includes a focus on the use of MRI to detect cancer in complex scenarios, such as in the presence of free injected silicone or ruptured breast implants. With years of experience in the field, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice, ensuring that my patients receive accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to proactive healthcare engagement, emphasizing the importance of early detection and patient education. My work in breast radiology has been driven by a commitment to innovation and excellence. At NYU Langone, we work closely with breast surgeons, pathologists, and oncologists to provide coordinated care, ensuring that each patient receives comprehensive treatment tailored to their specific needs.

My journey into medicine began with an undergraduate degree in chemistry and chemical biology from Harvard University, followed by medical school at Stanford University. During my time at Stanford, I conducted research on breast MRI techniques in collaboration with physicists at the Richard M. Lucas Center for Imaging. This research focused on improving the ability of MRI to detect and characterize breast tumors. Although I enjoyed the technical exploration at Stanford, I was drawn back to the East Coast, where I completed my radiology training at NYU Langone. I am now honored to work alongside many of my mentors at NYU Langone, where we strive to provide the best possible care for our patients.
