Driven by a profound curiosity about the human mind and a desire to make a meaningful impact, I pursued a career in psychiatry to integrate science, empathy, and creativity. Specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry has been particularly rewarding, as it allows the opportunity to positively influence young lives during crucial developmental stages. My deep commitment to supporting children and families through emotional and developmental changes is fueled by understanding the power of healing that occurs through trust and connection. By focusing on the family and support system as a whole, I aim to foster a nurturing environment for growth and resilience.

In my practice, I specialize in evaluating and treating a broad spectrum of mental health concerns in children and adolescents, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, trauma-related disorders, autism spectrum conditions, mood and behavioral dysregulation, psychotic disorders, and stressors related to family or school environments. I employ evidence-based strategies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parent guidance, and medication management when appropriate to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.

Having lived in several countries and being multi-lingual, I bring a global and culturally responsive perspective to my work. This enhances my ability to connect with patients from diverse backgrounds, fostering an environment where cultural, familial, and emotional safety are prioritized. As an advocate for strength-based and trauma-informed methods, I work diligently to promote both recovery and personal development. Collaboration with schools and community agencies is paramount to my approach, ensuring continuity of care beyond the hospital setting and into patients' daily lives.

I want families who seek care to understand that treatment is a compassionate partnership built on respect and hope. Each child's story and strengths are valued, as there is no "one-size-fits-all" solution in child psychiatry. My objective is to create a safe and supportive space where young individuals and their caregivers feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in their healing journey.

During my training at Elmhurst Hospital Center, part of the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, I contributed to quality-improvement projects aimed at enhancing family engagement within inpatient psychiatry. I maintain a keen interest in initiatives that improve access to mental health care for underserved and immigrant families and am dedicated to mentoring trainees in culturally informed, developmentally sensitive care.

Throughout my residency and fellowship, I have been recognized for excellence in teaching and patient care. These honors reflect my unwavering commitment to providing compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based care that supports both my patients and their families.
