As a board-certified clinical health psychologist at NYU Langone, I strive to provide compassionate and productive care for individuals with complex health and medical conditions. I specialize in working with patients who have cardiopulmonary, vestibular, oncologic, nephrology, and neurologic conditions. My expertise lies in addressing the psychological aspects of these chronic health issues, helping patients manage stress, improve their coping strategies, and enhancing their overall wellbeing. I am particularly passionate about the intersection of physical and emotional health, and I employ techniques to support my patients in achieving their health goals.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to proactive healthcare engagement. I enjoy supervising and mentoring psychology interns, particularly in our stress management and sleep strategies groups. Additionally, I actively share my knowledge and experiences at national conferences, grand rounds, on podcasts, and through contributions to Psychology Today. My journey into the field of health psychology began in graduate school, where I discovered a perfect blend of my interests in medicine and human understanding.
