Mandana Mahmoudi, MD, PhD, MPH

As a sleep medicine medicine specialist at NYU Langone, I manage patients with sleep-disordered breathing and general pulmonary diseases, leveraging my extensive training and experience to offer the highest quality care. My approach to medicine is rooted in a deep commitment to improving overall health and wellness, with a particular focus on proactive healthcare engagement.

Throughout my career, I have worked extensively in both outpatient and inpatient settings. At the Preston Robert Tisch Center for Men’s Health and the Comprehensive Epilepsy Sleep Center, I see patients with a variety of sleep and pulmonary conditions. Additionally, I serve as an attending physician on the Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine Consult Services at NYU Langone’s Tisch Hospital and the NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue Chest and Pulmonary Consult Services. My work in these diverse environments has equipped me with a broad understanding of pulmonary and sleep medicine, enabling me to address a wide range of patient needs.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a desire to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. I pursued my medical education with a focus on pulmonary and sleep medicine, driven by a fascination with the complexities of these fields.
