From a serendipitous introduction to medicine in high school, my journey into the medical field was born out of a strong desire to serve my community and support patients during their most vulnerable moments. This commitment to meaningful care led me to discover my passion for ophthalmology, a field that uniquely combines precision with compassion, and allows for longitudinal patient relationships. Vision plays an integral part of how we experience the world, connect with loved ones, and maintain our independence. As such, preserving it is an extraordinary honor, particularly for individuals suffering from glaucoma, where building long-term, trusting relationships is paramount to treatment.

Caring for my patients is driven by the belief that everyone deserves to feel acknowledged, understood, and genuinely cared for. Recognizing the deeply personal nature of vision, I strive to honor the trust placed in me. My approach extends beyond the confines of the exam room, delving into each patient’s life, understanding their daily routines, invisible struggles, unvoiced fears, and the effects on their family. Meaningful care involves meeting patients where they are in their journey and fostering trust through honest, transparent communication, ensuring patients feel supported and comfortable asking questions as we navigate complex decisions together.

My practice is dedicated to a wide array of eye conditions, with a specific focus on glaucoma and cataract care. I address all forms of adult glaucoma— including open-angle, closed-angle, normal tension, and secondary types such as pigmentary, pseudoexfoliative, neovascular, uveitic, traumatic, and more. I am skilled in performing routine to advanced cataract surgeries for patients with and without glaucoma and offer a full spectrum of glaucoma treatments, including laser-based, incisional surgeries, and minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS).

Every day, I am motivated by the privilege of earning and maintaining trust, guiding patients through complex decisions, and safeguarding their vision. This motivation compels me to offer care characterized by empathy, patience, and a commitment to delivering my very best.
