Adina N. Schwartzblatt, PhD

As a clinical psychologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to understanding the full context of each patient's life—their history, relationships, strengths, and the challenges that bring them to therapy. I believe meaningful change begins within a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, curiosity, and collaboration.

I specialize in working with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, women’s mental health concerns, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs), and eating disorders. My clinical approach integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and psychodynamic principles, allowing me to tailor treatment to each person’s unique needs and goals.

My training spans both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing me with a broad perspective on how psychological difficulties can emerge across different contexts and levels of care. These experiences have deepened my appreciation for the diverse ways emotional struggles manifest and reinforced my commitment to individualized, compassionate treatment.

Whether supporting a woman through the complexities of the perinatal period, helping a couple strengthen their connection, or guiding an individual through a difficult life transition, my goal remains the same: to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care centered on the whole person—not just a diagnosis. I am honored to be part of the NYU Langone community and to support patients in creating meaningful and lasting change.
