About Me
As a dedicated clinical psychologist at the Child Study Center—New Jersey, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone, I focus on creating a nurturing environment where children, adolescents, and their families feel heard and understood. By fostering genuine connection, I aim to facilitate meaningful changes and improvements in their lives. My approach to care emphasizes curiosity, compassion, and authenticity, ensuring that treatment sessions are engaging and collaborative. I strive to balance kindness and humor with thoughtful guidance and clarity.
I have a particular expertise in assisting children and families dealing with challenges related to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), disruptive behavior disorders, trauma, anxiety, mood concerns, and autism spectrum disorder. My therapeutic techniques incorporate a range of evidence-based approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and parent management training (PMT). Additionally, I am certified in PEERS, an evidence-based social skills group designed for teens. I prioritize comprehensive evaluations and work closely with schools, external providers, and colleagues within the Child Study Center to ensure well-rounded support.
Inspired by my upbringing with parents who ran a school for children with behavioral and emotional challenges, my passion for clinical psychology was ignited from a young age. This lifelong commitment allows me to offer compassionate care every day alongside the Child Study Center’s team of dedicated professionals.
