Matthew B. Brown, MD

As a physician at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to delivering high-quality and compassionate care to all of my patients. My passion for clinical practice has been the guiding force throughout my career, from my days as an internal medicine resident to my current role as the medical director of the emergency department (ED) observation team.

I have been practicing medicine as a member of the NYU Langone family since I first began my residency training in 2010. Since graduating, I have had the pleasure of serving as a hospitalist and an attending physician on the ED observation team—roles that have deepened my love of patient care and further kindled my passion for medicine.

I practice in the Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine, treating a diverse patient population with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. My team and I specialize in providing comprehensive care to emergency department patients who require further diagnostics, specialist consultation, and observation. Our commitment to excellence and innovation ensures that we are always prepared to meet the rapidly evolving needs of our patients and NYU Langone.
