Rana Biary, MD

As an emergency medicine physician at NYU Langone, I want to be there for patients facing any type of illness, offering support and expertise when they need it the most. My role allows me to make a significant impact on my patients’ lives, and I find great fulfillment in helping them navigate through emergencies.

I specialize in emergency medicine and medical toxicology, with extensive experience in managing cases of overdose, poisoning, adverse medication effects, and substance withdrawal.

After completing my emergency medicine residency, I pursued a fellowship in medical toxicology to deepen my expertise. My primary interests within toxicology include hyperthermia, medical question writing, and fellow education. With years of experience in these areas, I am well-equipped to handle complex cases and provide high-quality care.

Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement and patient education. I believe in fostering strong partnerships with my patients, ensuring they feel heard and supported. My work in the field has involved treating patients with a wide range of conditions and collaborating with various specialists to deliver coordinated, seamless care.
