As a gastroenterologist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to providing care that emphasizes both prevention and treatment. My approach involves listening carefully to my patients, educating them about their conditions, and creating personalized care plans that fit their unique needs and lifestyles. I specialize in managing a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including acid reflux, abdominal pain, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), and constipation. I also treat more complex diseases such as inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis), liver disorders, and gastrointestinal bleeding. My particular interest lies in liver disease, and I have extensive experience working with patients who have advanced liver conditions, including cirrhosis and liver failure. Additionally, I am passionate about cancer prevention through screenings like colonoscopies, which can detect and even prevent colorectal cancer.

Throughout my career, I have focused on performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures that are central to managing gastrointestinal health. These include colonoscopies for cancer screening, upper endoscopies (EGD) for evaluating symptoms such as heartburn and difficulty swallowing, and capsule endoscopies for diagnosing conditions accurately. My training in managing gastrointestinal bleeding and other complex conditions allows me to provide timely, minimally invasive treatments that significantly improve patient outcomes.

My journey into medicine began with a fascination for the problem-solving nature of the field and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people's lives. I was drawn to gastroenterology because it combines complex internal medicine with hands-on procedural work, allowing me to help patients manage a wide range of conditions and improve their quality of life.
