About Me
As a clinical psychologist at NYU Langone, I am deeply committed to supporting individuals through life’s challenges, including loss, trauma, and identity development. In my role as the director of House Staff Mental Health Program and Student Mental Health Services, I support a team of dedicated clinicians who promote both self and institutional healing, ensuring the mental wellbeing of physicians and physicians-in-training.
I specialize in a blend of psychodynamic, behavioral, trauma, and body-focused practices to create safe spaces for individuals to discover their authentic selves. I understand that healing is not linear and that various forces shape our self-perception and relationships. My approach integrates the connection between physical and mental health, spirituality, culture, and social awareness, honoring the fullness of each person’s lived experience. I am particularly passionate about treating individuals with marginalized identities, who often face systemic inequities.
Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement, offering individual and group therapy, as well as consultation and racial literacy training to organizations. My work emphasizes the importance of challenging internalized negative beliefs, building self-esteem, and improving relationships with oneself and others.
I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, to Haitian immigrants, and my background deeply influences my practice. Driven by a desire to support those facing life’s most challenging moments, I earned my PhD in clinical psychology and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in health psychology and primary care. At NYU Langone, I am proud to be part of a team that values comprehensive and coordinated care for all patients.
