As a critical care cardiologist at NYU Langone Cardiology Associates, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to my patients. My approach is centered on collaboration, ensuring that patients and their family feels supported and involved in the treatment process. I specialize in treating patients who are critically ill in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU). My expertise includes managing patients with acute myocardial infarction (heart attack), cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrests, unstable arrhythmias, acute decompensated heart failure, and complications related to cardiac transplant. I perform various critical care bedside procedures such as intubation, bronchoscopy, pulmonary artery catheterization, temporary pacemaker insertion, and the management of mechanical cardiac support devices like balloon pumps, Impella, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and ventricular assist device (VAD).

With more than a decade of experience, I bring a wealth of knowledge and specialized skills to my practice. My work in the echocardiography laboratory focuses on point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS), a non-invasive imaging technique that aids in critical care decision-making. By using POCUS, I aim to minimize the need for invasive procedures, enhancing patient safety and comfort. My commitment to innovation and excellence in patient care is reflected in my ongoing research on non-invasive methods to assess cardiac volume status.

My journey into medicine was driven by a fascination with the science of the human body, particularly hemodynamics and respiratory mechanics. This interest led me to pursue a career in critical care cardiology. I am proud to be part of the esteemed team at NYU Langone, where I collaborate with top professionals to provide the highest standard of coordinated care.
