As a psychiatrist at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to understanding and advancing the human condition. The practice of psychiatry grants me the privilege of knowing people deeply and helping some of the most vulnerable and misunderstood individuals in our communities. My role allows me to make a meaningful impact on patients’ lives, and I strive to ensure that every interaction with our psychiatry service is a positive experience for patients, their families, and the clinicians who seek our consultation.

I specialize in treating serious mental illnesses and have extensive experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings, as well as the emergency department. Throughout my career, I have focused on providing comprehensive psychiatric care in diverse and often challenging situations. My work in the NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn emergency department involves treating patients from all over the world, often during the most extreme moments of their lives.

My journey into psychiatry was inspired by a profound interest in the human mind and a desire to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with mental health issues. My career has been shaped by a commitment to advancing psychiatric care and training the next generation of mental health professionals.
