Agnieszka Cain, MD

As an attending physician in the emergency department at NYU Langone Hospital–Brooklyn, I provide psychiatric evaluations, crisis intervention, and as needed inpatient consult liaison services. In the fast-paced, high-pressure environment of the emergency department, I’m committed to delivering compassionate and effective care to patients experiencing acute mental health crises.

I completed my medical training at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, graduating with distinction in research, and hold a master of business administration degree in finance from Baruch College. This unique combination of clinical and business training helps me approach patient care from a holistic perspective, ensuring that patients receive the best possible treatment while navigating complex healthcare systems.

Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement, emphasizing the importance of timely and compassionate care. My work in emergency psychiatry has given me the privilege of supporting patients during critical times. Whether it’s de-escalating a crisis or coordinating ongoing care, I am passionate about integrating evidence-based practices into my clinical practice to continually improve patient outcomes.
