Eugene Yuriditsky, MD

As a dual board certified cardiologist and intensivist at NYU Langone, I provide comprehensive and compassionate care to my patients. My role in the cardiovascular intensive care unit at both Kimmel Pavilion and Bellevue allows me to engage with critically ill patients, addressing complex disease states with evolving technologies and procedures. I find immense satisfaction in the dynamic environment of the intensive care unit (ICU), where every moment counts, and the impact of our interventions can be life changing.

I specialize in managing acute pulmonary embolism and the hemodynamics of right ventricular failure, areas where I have conducted extensive research. My dual board certification in cardiology and critical care medicine underscores my expertise in these fields. With years of experience, I have developed a deep understanding of critical care physiology, which I share through medical education and teaching. I am committed to making complex concepts more accessible, having authored numerous manuscripts and book chapters on these subjects.

My work in the ICU is complemented by my research, which aims to improve patient outcomes through innovative approaches and treatments. My journey into medicine began at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, followed by a residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. I completed fellowships in cardiology at Georgetown University and MedStar Washington Hospital Center and in critical care medicine at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Inspired by the complexities of critical care and the advancements in medical technology, I pursued a career that allows me to make a significant impact on my patients’ lives.
