About Me
As a family medicine physician at Urgent Care at NYU Langone Ambulatory Care West Side, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, patient–provider care. I specialize in treating acute medical issues that require prompt attention but aren’t life-threatening, such as sprains, flu symptoms, a sore throat, ear pain, fever, small cuts that might need stitches, mild breathing difficulties, nausea, or a rash. My passion for medicine stems from a lifelong desire to help people from all walks of life. I am committed to fostering strong patient relationships and ensuring that individuals receive the highest quality of care tailored to their unique needs.
With years of experience in family medicine, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. I am well-versed in urgent care, having previously served as medical director for a pioneering urgent care practice in New York City for six years. Throughout my career, I have focused on proactive healthcare engagement, emphasizing the importance of timely access to care and coordination between urgent and primary care services. My experience in urgent care has taught me the value of being responsive and patient-focused, ensuring that immediate healthcare needs are met while also supporting long-term health and wellness goals.
My journey into medicine was inspired by my volunteer work with a non-profit organization supporting people with HIV infection and AIDS and a transformative summer spent working at an HIV/AIDS clinic. These experiences underscored the importance of being a caring and competent physician. Joining NYU Langone allows me to continue my commitment to patient care within a leading health system known for its coordinated and comprehensive approach. I look forward to helping patients achieve healthier lives and building lasting relationships within the NYU Langone community.
