My interest in medicine began at an early age, influenced by my personal experience of undergoing multiple surgeries for a cleft lip and palate. Fascinated by the intricate workings of the body, I pursued a career in medicine and found my calling in emergency medicine, a field that combines critical care, acute interventions, and the opportunity to assist patients in moments of urgent need.

In my role within the emergency department, I treat patients ranging from newborns to older adults, addressing a wide array of medical issues, including minor injuries, strokes, cardiac arrests, and traumatic events. My skill set includes performing procedures such as joint reductions, intubations, laceration repairs, procedural sedation, and advanced vascular access, all of which aim to stabilize and support patients during critical medical situations. I emphasize pain control, symptom relief, and resuscitation as essential aspects of emergency care.

I am committed to providing patients and their families with empathy and humanity during some of their most vulnerable moments. I believe in delivering equitable and kind care, ensuring each patient feels understood and comforted. My treatment philosophy centers on stabilizing patients, ruling out life-threatening conditions, and ensuring seamless transitions to the next appropriate phase of care, whether it be inpatient management or outpatient follow-up.

For me, the most fulfilling aspect of patient care is connecting with patients, easing their distress, and witnessing positive outcomes in critical situations. I take great pride in helping patients recover from the brink of life-threatening emergencies and restoring hope for both them and their families.
