Eunice Choi, D.O.

As an emergency medicine doctor at NYU Langone, I am committed to providing swift and comprehensive care to people facing sudden illnesses or injuries. This role allows me to make an immediate, positive difference in my patients’ lives—a responsibility I find both challenging and fulfilling. Having been born and raised on Long Island, I consider it a privilege to serve my community with empathetic and focused care.

I am a board-certified emergency physician, prepared to handle any urgent situation and treat a variety of medical conditions. My skills have been honed to lead effectively, working in harmony with the rest of the medical team to deliver optimal care. I treat individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and medical conditions, ensuring everyone receives the attention and care they deserve.

Throughout my career, I have thrived in high-pressure situations, managing complex scenarios and solving medical puzzles. I am proud to be part of the Emergency Department at NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island, which is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, an ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) receiving center, and Level 1 designated trauma receiving center. This affiliation enables me to provide the full scope of general patient care as well as advanced care to my patients who are experiencing serious illness and injury that require immediate treatment.

My journey into medicine was fueled by a desire to be the doctor ready to treat every patient in any situation. The intensity and immediacy of emergency medicine appealed to me, offering a unique blend of challenges and rewards not found in other specialties. As part of the NYU Langone team, I am grateful for the opportunity to practice emergency medicine.
