As a child and adolescent psychiatrist and addictions psychiatrist at the Child Study Center, part of Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone and co-director of the Child Study Center’s addictions service, I am dedicated to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for my patients. My approach to care is holistic, focusing on the overall wellbeing of each individual. I am passionate about helping young people navigate the complexities of mental health and addiction, and I find immense fulfilment in witnessing their growth and resilience.

I specialize in treating a range of psychiatric conditions in children and adolescents, including anxiety, depression, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and substance use disorders. I treat addictions in adolescents and young adults by providing medication management, parent training, and individual therapy for alcohol, nicotine, cannabis, cocaine, and opiate use disorders. With board certifications in both child and adolescent psychiatry and addictions psychiatry, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to my practice. My extensive training includes a residency at UConn Health and fellowships at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Columbia-Cornell and Boston Medical Center. With more than a decade of experience, I am committed to providing treatments tailored to each patient's unique needs.

Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to proactive healthcare engagement. I co-host “About Our Kids” on Doctor Radio SiriusXM 110, where I share insights and advice on child and adolescent mental health. My role as the associate program director of the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at NYU Langone allows me to mentor and guide future specialists in this critical field. Additionally, I teach courses on adolescent addiction at New York University, helping to educate the next generation of healthcare professionals.

My journey into psychiatry was inspired by a deep-seated desire to make a positive impact on young lives. I pursued my medical degree with a focus on child and adolescent psychiatry, driven by the belief that early intervention can change the trajectory of a young person's life. At NYU Langone, I collaborate with a team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for my patients. I am committed to empowering patients and their families and fostering a supportive community for all.
