I specialize in managing chronic conditions such as systemic lupus erythematosus, osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and gout. With a robust background in both clinical practice and academic research, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my role. I earned my doctor of medicine from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine and a bachelor of arts degree in biochemistry from Columbia University. My dedication to the field has been recognized with the Rheumatology Fellow of the Year award at NYU Langone in 2023, underscoring my commitment to excellence in patient care.

Throughout my career, I have focused on the safety and immunogenicity of vaccines in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and the association of knee synovitis (inflammation of the knee joint) with quadriceps weakness in osteoarthritis. My work is driven by a passion for advancing medical knowledge and improving patient outcomes. As a clinical assistant professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, I am actively involved in teaching and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

My journey into medicine was inspired by a profound desire to make a difference in people's lives. I was drawn to the field of rheumatology due to its complexity and the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients. My educational background, including my residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, has equipped me with the skills and knowledge to provide comprehensive and compassionate care.
